After work I walked around the garden in the last light of the day and took photos, mostly of hardy fuchsias because one of my favourite bloggers likes them a lot…Had I known I would someday be blogging so thoroughly, I would have done better labeling.
I have them in almost every bed throughout the garden.
In other plant news:
The very end of the day was made most pleasant when Mary from two doors down gave us some filleted salmon that her husband Jeff had caught that day out on the Columbia River. It was delicious and made two wonderful dinners.
Gorgeous! Love those huge impressive borders in your garden! Hardy fuchsias are a favorite plant of mine (aren’t they all!) They add such a welcome and fresh bit of color when lots of other plants are looking a little tired.

Wish I knew the names…I planted this garden so quickly I did not keep good track. But all are perfectly hardy here. (So far!)

Even though I started my blog to document my garden, I also neglect to keep track of plant names. Good record-keeping is tedious work. Your Fuchsias are so beautiful! I only have a couple of F. magellanicas in my garden.
