That is one beautiful path!

Thank you! I dithered for three years about whether or not to go gravel there. So glad I did.

Those hedgehogs! I have one in my garden, too. Thanks for the tour. Such a delight.

Your pulmonaria is sensational. I am very envious.

The new path gets 5 stars. I’d want walk down it to see what lie beyond. The Corylopsis pauciflora is also over-the-top lovely. Your garden is rich in its diversity.

Spring is here! Love all your spring blossoms, especially the corylopsis pauciflora. The danger tree snag is cool, too. I used to have a tall snag the woodpeckers loved, until a wind storm toppled it.

Pink muscari? I just featured grape hyacinth for next week. To me, the old fashioned sort that naturalizes is still the best, although I would consider adding a colony of ‘Album’, just because it is white, but otherwise very similar to common grape hyacinth.
The Gladiolus papilio is starting to emerge from hibernation! It looks stouter than it did last year. It must might bloom, despite the earlier disruption!

I hope it blooms this year. Some people think muscari is a weed but I love it and have several different kinds. I like Ocean Magic, too. It’s blue and white.

I remember ‘Ocean Magic’ because I liked it, which is a stretch for me. I want to keep the grape hyacinth uniform, so will not add another cultivar to it. If I get another cultivar, it will be in a separate colony, . . . or colonies. (I intend to impose strict limits.)
