I’m tired (another insomniac night)…so I’m mostly just going to do captions except for a couple of things that need more words.
Diane’s garden

The Red Barn Arena

We met a new dog named Buddy, but his human used to always be here with a great old German Shepherd named Dog. I loved Dog. He was a very good boy. I was ever so sad to learn that Dog had passed away. His dad said the only way to cope with losing a dog is get another dog right away, so he did. Year-old Buddy is also a very good boy….shown being good while watching Cosmo.

As we left, Cosmo waited for more of his fans to arrive.

The Planter Box

We made an excursion to get some potting soil as I’m low on it at home. I got some fine tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers since my seeding didn’t happen this year. They’ll stay on windowsills till next week when the weather gets warmer. Teresa says the cukes and tomatoes can go into a our unheated greenhouse now but I’m worried about that.

Port of Ilwaco
We did a drive by, hoping everything would be fine, but damn, the grasses were poking their mocking heads up through perennials in the curbside gardens north of the port office, so we had to stop to weed.

Now for two days off, hoping the daily wind will lessen by Monday so we can finish planting in Long Beach.
I enjoy seeing all the pets get their treats. The gardens are all looking beautiful. The gardens at the Port add so much cheer.
