We stopped to see what was left of the end of season sale and I bought a few variegated oregano and thyme for the Ilwaco post office edge.

Fred and Nancy are retiring right after this end of season sale…and that is another “letting go” that is happening this year.  They have buyers who will take over the business.  I am fighting the “It’ll never be the same!” feeling.

A ceanothus that had been slowly dying had finally completely plotzed, so Allan cut it down.  I recently read that it is not unusual for ceanothus to die off like this.
