I still had not gotten to that magical rainy day winter reading time.  Today, in beautiful weather, was Small Business Saturday at the Port along with the first day of the Ilwaco Saturday Christmas Market.

We learned today that the bookstore used to be half the size it is now; its original incarnation was to this side of the brown line!

I picked up the book I’d ordered, the last book of all from my favourite author Ruth Rendell.

Our Kathleen stopped by for awhile for some tea and to take home some pumpkin pie, and then I got out into the garden.
