remembering Smoky, part two, 2015

I continue my tribute to my most special feline friend, my beloved Smoky, who died on Halloween 2017.

Smoky did like dogs, because of being brought up with the good dogs, Annie and Jasmine, of his previous home.
good old Annie and Jasmine, who were good friends of mine and of Smoky’s.

I still enjoy staycation reading time, but not as much as when I had Smoky to share it with me. Mary was a little squirmier, and Frosty is terribly squirmy.

I love the photos, Skyler! No problem loading these either. Nothing like a good winter staycation with cats and plenty of reading material. 🙂

Good, I was worried there would be loading hang ups with so many photos. Thank you!

Beautiful photos to remember Smoky! I love the one of you holding him in the garden. He sure was a loving lap warmer and reading companion.

I think we’re all meant to see these precious photos because my loading has been easy too. How delightful to share these moments with you and Smoky. He certainly gets bonus points for not squirming. I have a wiggler now, and although I love her dearly, I wish she’d settle down while I’m reading!

Wigglers are not the best reading cats. My Dumbles was also an excellent non wiggler and so was good old Orson. Valene, Lucretia and Frosty and Calvin -/wiggly to the max.

I can well imagine the tears shed while you formatted this post, but oh what a great memorial and a lovely testament to the bond you both had.

I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Smoky well, as I did Dumbles, but I know that was fortunate to have found a home where he was so well-loved, and you to be loved by him. Thank you for sharing these photos. Do you have a favorite?

The photos of him in the recliner looking like such an elegant gentleman. And the campfire photos. Thank you. Dumbles was another wonderful cat. I mostly had him before having a digital camera so not many pics.
