So much diversity! I’m partial to yellow. If I die and am reincarnated, I want to come back as a bug in your garden. (Okay, well maybe not as an aphid or a mealy bug.)

So very beautiful! My gardens are looking golden, too. Hope some kind of addition—a deck?—can be built so that you can go outside and feel safe.

I have always wondered why many of the early flowering plants are yellow and heard on a science broadcast on the BBC that yellow is the first color on the spectrum that the eye perceives…wonder if this is nature’s way of encouraging insect life to wake up in the spring and perhaps, by the same token, fill up on nectar just before going into hibernation…
Anyway, great photos!

That could be true!! I heard in a lecture to use yellow for roadside plantings because it “stops the eye” for a split second, this drawing attention.
